Rita is the Director of Clifton Law Ltd, trading as Clifton Law Solicitors. She has over 14 years’ experience practising as a lawyer. Rita, a Senior Solicitor, was qualified by the Law Society of England and Wales in 2009 and she worked in private practice before establishing Clifton Law Solicitors in 2016. Rita has rights of audience in Nigeria Courts where she is qualified as both a Barrister and Solicitor. Rita has experience in Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation and Immigration law.
Rita is an Immigration and Asylum Supervising Senior Caseworker specialising in all Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights cases as well as Business Immigration. Rita oversees both the Immigration/Human Rights and Civil Litigation departments.

Forsyth Onwuka
Head of Prison Law
Forsyth is a highly experienced Senior Caseworker, managing a varied Prison Law caseload. Forsyth is the Supervisor, overseeing the Prison Law Department in Clifton Law Solicitors. Forsyth has a science background and holds a Master’s Degree in Sciences. Forsyth has over 10 years of legal experience, working in private practice.
Forsyth has experience in all areas of Prison Law - including Parole Board hearings to represent prisoners for release, Minimum term review (Tariff Reduction), Adjudications before the Independent Adjudicator to represent prisoners charged with breaking prison discipline, as well as appealing convictions and sentences. Forsyth has experience in all areas of motoring offences.

Iman Elkhatim

Iman Elkhatim is an experienced Immigration law professional and human rights specialist in multi-jurisdictional areas, rendering her as an international figure in basic rights advocacy with prominent achievements, contributions and remarkable positions in all respective fields. Beside her Law qualifications from Khartoum University in Sudan , she has gained Higher Diploma in Employment Law from Coventry University as well as Higher Diploma in Law & Practice Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, CILEX, United Kingdom. Iman Elkhatim is an associate member of CILEX. Iman has also gained outstanding experience in Family Law, where she is an expert legal adviser and advocate on divorce matters, financial orders, child arrangement orders and Domestic violence cases. On the other hand, Iman is authoritative and competitive, seeking challenge; she is prepared to compete, is perseverant and set on winning. Iman enjoys confrontation and solving complex cases.

I have the highest regard for Iman Elkhatim and Clifton Law Solicitors based in Coventry for the excellent job done in our case.
